Wildcard weren't messing around when they said ARK: Survival Evolved would be a creative and immersive game. With the latest update headed to Xbox One, we have to ask ourselves, is this madness or genius?
It's no secret that you can tame and train mounts in the game but the two latest additions include GIANT BEAVERS and Terror Birds. Let us tell you this now, we're in it for the beavers! If the image above didn't sell it for you, check out the video below!
Not only that though, the grappling hook is being introduced to the game and ARK: Survival Evolved is launching in a whole host of new territories. Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan and Turkey.
But what do the mounts do apart from look pretty? ARK Survivors will find the Giant Beaver, aka Castoroides Feliconcisor, to be super-cuddly, but also super useful since it can build dams, harvest and carry vast quantities of wood, and act as a mobile crafting station. Plus, they can swim! The Terror Bird, or Phorusrhacidae Rapidesultor, is a tamable, aggressive avian capable of high-speed sprints and brief leaps, but it doesn’t technically fly, as its flight is comprised of short, sustained “Joust”-like glides or leaps.
