Rachel Tucker is back home on the West End from her Broadway run in Wicked The Hit Musical. We've seen a whole host of Elphaba's on the west end stage but Rachel Tucker has been on our hit list for some time, to hear she's back is something we can not miss so look out for a review coming soon.

Wicked currently stars Rachel Tucker (Elphaba), Suzie Mathers (Glinda), Oliver Savile (Fiyero), Anita Dobson (Madame Morrible), Mark Curry (The Wizard), Martin Ball (Doctor Dillamond), Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose), Idriss Kargbo (Boq), Alice Fearn (Standby for Elphaba) and Carina Gillespie (Standby for Glinda)..

Rachel, Suzie and Anita will star in the show until late January when Willemijn Verkaik will return to the West End to give it another shot. Willemijn, had to leave her short lived run due to medical reasons, fan favourite Kerry Ellis stepped in to fill the shoes again.

Wicked is one of those amazing shows that creates a community not just on the stage but in the seats that are filled every night. Everyone has their faourite elphie and Glinda and those leading duo's on stage can make the difference between a magical night and one that falls flat. Thankfully the casting team behind this amazing night out get it right every single time.

Based on the best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire that ingeniously re-imagines the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Wicked has music and lyrics by multi Grammy® and Academy® Award-winner Stephen Schwartz (Godspell; Disney’s Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and is based on the novel ‘Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West’ by Gregory Maguire and adapted for the stage by Winnie Holzman. Musical staging is by Tony® Award-winner Wayne Cilento and the production is directed by two-time Tony® Award-winner Joe Mantello.
