The first full-length trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues has been released online, so “don’t act like you’re not impressed.” (Not like you’d need to, of course). Back from the airwaves abyss, the “elite” unit of Brick, Champ, Brian, and Ron is set to take on the competitive world of 24-hour news. Yes, we are now in the ‘80s, so prepare yourselves for “salon-quality hair” that may or may not look like “wet popcorn”. With the wind at their backs (and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” as their soundtrack), the gang at Channel 4 is “Burgundy-er” than ever. That is, until a new youngster with even more perfect looks than Ron (yes, that is actually possible) threatens to take their place.

At one minute and forty-three seconds long, the trailer gives us some new great one-liners (cue Kristen Wiig), as well as one heck of an awkward dinner scene. Starring Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, David Koechner, Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, and many others, Anchorman: The Legend Continues opens in theatres on December 20th.
