With a plethora of hit shows over the years Andrew Lloyd Webber dominated Broadway and the West End in the 80's and 90's with shows like Phantom Of The Opera, Cats, Sunset Blvd, By Jeeves, Song and Dance and Jesus Christ Superstar... I'm sure there are more to talk about but Jesus Christ Superstar is coming back to the UK.
Ben Foster won the ITV talent show 'Superstar' to become Jesus in an Arena tour that will travel the entireity of The United Kingdom and no doubt get a DVD and Blu-ray release since Lloyd Webbers 25th Anniversary Concert of The Phantom of the Opera and Australian production of Love Never Dies sold by the shed load around the globe and rightfully so.
I grew up on the music of Lloyd Webber, Sunset Blvd being my favourite and I have to say although financial difficulties will keep me away from this musical treat and one of my all time favourite live artists, I wish them the best on this exciting new production.
