The wait is almost over for DC fans to see the epic Justice League movie that director Zack Snyder always intended for the iconic superhero team-up. The four-hour cut of Justice League lands (in four parts) on HBO Max on March 18, which is excellent news if you like in a country where HBO Max is readily available. However, for those of us who live in the UK (where HBO Max doesn't exist) we've been left wondering when and how we'll get to see the movie. Well, there is no need to wonder any longer as it has now been confirmed when and how we can see The Snyder Cut.
Many fans speculated that Justice League would follow in the footsteps of Wonder Woman 1984 and be available for digital rental, but that's not what is happening here. Justice League The Snyder Cut will be available in the UK on the same day as the US launch via Sky Cinema or Now TV. So, if you have Sky or Now TV with a Sky Movies Pass, you'll be able to watch Justice League for no additional cost. While Snyder has previously stated that a DVD & Blu-ray release will happen, there are currently no details on when that might transpire. On the upside, Warner Bros has shelled out more than $70 million to complete the film, so a home entertainment release is inevitable.
It was recently revealed that Jared Leto's Joker would be making an appearance and the promise of a "mind-blowing" cameo in the closing moments. Ryan Reynolds has already denied that he's reprising his beloved role as Green Lantern, even though the internet doesn't believe him.
Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Joe Manganiello, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Jared Leto. Justice League The Snyder Cut will be released on HBO, Sky Cinema, and Now TV on March 18.
"Determined to ensure Superman's ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.
Now united, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions."
