Paul Bettany Returning To The MCU For Vision Series

If you were unhappy with the lack of Paul Bettany's Vision in Multiverse of Madness, Marvel has the answer to your woes with a brand new Disney+ series that will see Bettany reprise his role again. Currently titled Vision Quest, the series will pick up after the events of WandaVision, which saw the creation of a new Vision body that was gifted all of the original Vision's memories.

WandaVision and the forthcoming spin-off Agatha Coven of Chaos creator, writer and executive producer Jac Schaeffer will also be the creative force behind Vision Quest. According to Deadline, the series will see Vision attempting to regain all of his memories and rediscover his humanity. When we last saw White Vision (as he came to be called), he had just been given all of Vision's memories, but there was barely a mention of him in the recent Doctor Strange sequel. Despite her apparent demise, it's likely that Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda could make an appearance in Vision Quest. Now that the Multiverse doors have been opened, all things are possible.

WandaVision was the first of what now seems like an endless array of Marvel TV shows on Disney+. Offering audiences a different flavour of Marvel with its unique style and structure, each episode replicated the look of a different era of Television, with episode running times changing as the show progressed. Fun stylistic choices aside, WandaVision was a beautiful piece of storytelling, full of fun, high emotion and an ending that is as heartbreaking as it gets. While all the Marvel shows have had their moments, WandaVision remains my favourite of them all so far.

For your next hit from the MCU, the long-awaited Black Panther sequel, Wakanda Forever, arrives in cinemas on November 11. Fresh from their cameos in Thor Love and Thunder, The Guardians of the Galaxy return for a Marvel Special Presentation for a one-off festive event on November 25.
