What a man, what a man what a mighty fine man.... Kit Hartington proves there's more to him than the timid Jon Snow in this new trailer for Pompeii.

Set against the backdrop of the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., POMPEII 3D is the epic story of Milo (Kit Harington – Game of Thrones), a young slave-turned-gladiator who must fight to save Cassia (Emily Browning – Sucker Punch), the woman he loves, from the clutches of a corrupt Roman senator (Kiefer Sutherland – 24) before the city is destroyed.

It looks awesome and to be honest the historic actioner that's stealing Pompeii's thunder is Hercules but with a broody, ripped Kit leading the way and a kick ass Emily Browning taking up a principal role in this one, Pompeii is definitely one to look out for in 2014.

It seems that 2014 will be the year of the man nips with 300: Rise of an Empire, Hercules (two of them!) and Pompeii all vying for our attention!
