Independent and aspiring filmmakers of the world listen up, the ReelPitch Challenge is now open for submissions for their innovative Audience Awards that will see four projects share a prize fund of more than $28,000 and gain invaluable exposure to the industry.
The unique contest platform was launched three years ago and accepts pitch videos for projects at any stage of development meaning you can submit under the categories of pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution & outreach. So, if you're lacking the funds to make your dream short film then dust off that script, get your crew together and make a kick-ass crowdfunding video, trailer or film pitch and get your video in by August 9th.
“The Audience Awards is here to help. Filmmakers from around the globe are invited to submit a pitch video of your film or web series and an industry jury + the global audience will select their favorites to award a share of $28,998 to four deserving film projects.
Whether you are in pre-production, production, post-production or distribution & outreach with your film, you are invited to submit your crowdfunding video, trailer or film pitch to one of the four categories in REELPITCH to compete for the total of $28,998 in cash and prizes.

Audience Awards:
1st Place: $10,000, Filmstro soundtrack license ($1,999) & Audience Awards International Film Festival premiere
2nd Place: $2,500 & Audience Awards International Film Festival premiere
Jury Awards:
1st Place: $10,000, Filmstro soundtrack license ($1,999) & Audience Awards International Film Festival premiere
2nd Place: $2,500 & Audience Awards International Film Festival premiere
All videos must be 10 minutes or less, naturally, there is a benchmark for quality, and all videos will be pre-judged on a scale of one to three with those that score a one being disqualified for entry. The three videos with the most votes will join the jury’s selections of two projects from each category to compete for the prize fund.
