On December 11th 2013, VIVA FOREVER took the West End by storm as the Spice Girls witnessed their pop catalogue take on a whole new meaning for characters on the stage of the Piccadilly Theatre, Denman Street, London.

From the award-winning writer and comedienne Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous, French & Saunders), and Judy Craymer, producer of the worldwide smash-hit musical MAMMA MIA!, comes VIVA FOREVER!, a wonderfully joyous contemporary musical about the value of friendship in the face of fame and fortune!

As one girl follows her dreams, VIVA FOREVER! charts her journey into the world of overnight celebrity and its impact on her mother, and the friends she thought she’d have forever. From London to Spain and back again, as the world judges you, it’s all about who you really are and who you want to be, whatever the cost.

The night was a star studded event but these days it's very rare to get all five Spice Girls in one place but for Viva Forever the Musical they turned out in force to thank the cast, Jennifer Saunders and Judy Craymer for the hard work that led up to this very special World Premiere. I missed it unfortunately but having a huge circle of Spicey friends, I know the ins and outs of the night, the ups and downs and thanks to the Viva Forever Facebook Page we have pictures to remember the moment Viva Forever was born!

The Spice Girls are a phenomenon, they still influence pop music to this day and although some may have fallen off the celebrity radar others like Melanie C are still releasing their own music to this day. The Spice Girls may not be the super group they were but they still draw in the crowds and it's thanks to their determination and will to succeed. VIVA FOREVER!!!!!
