Could this be the one? Could this be the film where Melissa McCarthy chooses to do actual comedy and not take the piss out of her own body weight? Hopefully if anything this is a woman who can move mountains with her ability as long as she doesn't refer to herself as the mountain.

I love Melissa's work but in recent years she's played it easy when it comes to the jokes and with Spy it looks like we're back on track... two rugged and dashing male leads and on top of that a classic formula that has to work! This new trailer made us chuckle and the new poster screams Bond parody....

Twentieth Century Fox are delighted to announce the theatrical release of SPY in the UK and Ireland on 5th June 2015, directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat).

Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency’s most dangerous missions. But when her partner (Jude Law) falls off the grid and another top agent (Jason Statham) is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global disaster.
