Due for a UK Release on August 27th, followed by a North American release on September 4th. The Good Wife is one of those TV shows that consistently gives to its viewers but never seems to be appreciated, at least over here in the UK where it appears to have slipped from prime time viewing to a daytime monstrosity.

With great drama, cast and awesome cameos from Michael J Fox, The Good Wife is one of those shows that surprises and does well to maintain momentum throughout it's season runs, from premiere to finale, The Good Wife is a show with integrity, unlike poor Alicia's husband who just can't seem to keep it in his pants!

I hadn't even realised seasons 1 and 2 were out now on DVD... if you like legal drama and a heavy dose of likeable characters and story line then I highly suggest digging in to The Good Wife!

Margulies stars as Alicia Florrick, a wife and mother who assumes full responsibility for her family and re-enters the workforce after her husband's (Chris Noth) very public sex and political corruption scandal.  The third season of the series continues with Alicia struggling to balance her professional and personal lives as she strives to provide a stable home for her children.  In the midst of her ongoing professional challenges, she faces potential divorce from her husband and contemplates finally giving in to her feelings for fellow lawyer Will Gardner (Josh Charles).
