Happy Monday, all. Hope you had a good weekend. I took a slight break from the internet and caught up on reading, making for a really fantastic two days. Now, before I get some coffee, here are today's headlines.
The Simpsons had the best tribute to Marcia Wallace over the weekend.
I can't wait for Anna Gunn to guest star on The Mindy Project.
Kerry Washington did great on SNL, which makes it more evident that the show needs a black female cast member. (Sidenote: how great did Nasim Pedrad do this weekend? She led the episode once again (as she did in the Edward Norton hosted episode) and showed a great new character. End side note). PLUS: Washington's episode was a season high for SNL.
ABC has given full-season orders to The Trophy Wife and The Goldbergs. I'm pretty happy about that, considering those might be the only two new shows I still have any interest in.
ICYMI: The first-ever YouTube Music Awards happened over the weekend. Watch clips from the event here.
Seriously, the networks need new, hit sitcoms.
Superman fans will enjoy Man of Steel's new viral site, which has a bunch of information about Krypton.
You can watch a clip from Bill Cosby's upcoming stand up special.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will crossover with the upcoming Thor movie.
Here's an argument for Going the Distance being one of the best romcoms in recent years.
This literary start-up site will offer previously unavailable books from Joan Didion.
All five seasons of Chuck are now on Netflix.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will offer Supertickets to fans, and allow them to see the movie ahead of it's US release date.
I enjoyed this New York Times piece about Amazon's original show, Alpha House.
Speaking of, Amazon will offer the first three episodes of Alpha House and Betas to everyone, and all at the same time.
And for fun, watch Sherlock get mashed with Friends:
