Wicked The Musical continues to Defy Gravity on Broadway and the West End.

When I first realised that Wicked would be opening in London I said "I HAVE TO SEE IT!!!" and I did, 13 times and if I could afford to go again I would.

Don't get me wrong the tickets are affordable for various spots in the theatre BUT my sweet spot is Row G in the stalls... that's just the right place to see everything you need to up close and personal. This is a must see musical in a time when New Musicals are based on a bunch of pop songs.

Original musicals were the bread and butter of the West End and Broadway in the 90's and today Wicked is one of the best known musicals around the world having had its songs performed on the hit TV show Glee and of course the music lives on in various albums that leading ladies like Kerry Ellis, Idina Menzel and Stephanie J Block release.

Wicked isn't just a journey for the audience, it's also a journey for the leading men and women in the show, it's a life changing event that takes some of them to blistering speeds on the career ladder, catapulting them into stardom.

Idina Menzel who originated the role of Elphaba on Broadway and the West End is currently touring the UK and the US, she's also just laid down vocals with Kristin Bell for Disney's Frozen which is due for release in 2013.

Wicked is in its 7th Year at the Apollo Victoria in London and long may it stay there. A truly moving and magical experience for all the family.
