Although situated in the 40s, The Arrival of Conrado Sierra is an ode to women´s freedom in all ages. Five sisters, known in the town as Las Josefitas vírgenes, anxiously await the arrival of a man who is only interested in marrying the youngest. But things aren´t that easy, and, in the struggle to defend her love, the youngest sister faces the burden and prejudices of a stifling society.
