A Star Wars film is currently being developed by Lucasfilm Ltd. Kathleen Kennedy and Kevin Feige will serve as its producers. The movie was first announced by Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn. Kennedy later commented during an interview with Los Angeles Times on December 15, 2019 that Feige pitched the idea for the film but that it is still in early stages.
