Vedi (Tamil: வெடி; English: Firecracker) is a Tamil action film directed by Prabhu Deva featuring Vishal and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles. The film is a remake of the successful 2008 Telugu film Souryam, and it got released on 30th September 2011 with moderate reviews.
