Monique Edwards is an actor, singer, director and humanitarian who has steadily built a solid reputation in television, film, stage and commercials. Most recently, Ms. Edwards completed filming episodes of the new CBS hit series Battle Creek, starring Josh Duhamel & Dean Winters, Freeforms critically acclaimed drama The Fosters as well as TNTs long running flagship drama Rizzoli & Isles. Prior to that she landed a recurring role on How I Met Your Mother and appeared in The Social Network as well as the sleeper Indie film To Save a Life. Ms. Edwards has also guest starred on many top rated shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Lie to Me, Without a Trace, Following a 13-year volunteer relationship with the youth-arts organization group Voices in Harmony. Monique traveled to Northern Uganda to work with youth in war-torn areas. That work was chronicled in the award-winning documentary After Kony: Staging Hope. Subsequently, Ms. Edwards traveled to Washington D.C. with Resolve Uganda to lobby on behalf of peace in Northern Uganda.
