This detective drama featured the case files of Chief Inspector Rose. supported initially by Det. Sgt. Swift, his junior officer from the highly-acclaimed 'The Odd Man'. The ensemble cast included a barrister and a couple of investigative journalists, and spawned a sequel series, 'Mr Rose' in 1967
