It wasn't long ago that we brought you news of the Broken Sword kickstarter campaign which has now reached it's limit within weeks of going live. Now the guys behind Pro Pinball have set up their own kickstarter campaign so they can get their next title on to iOS and Android as soon as possible.

With new dynamic lighting techniques and other great things planned, perhaps as larger studios tighten their belts the industry needs a little help from the fans... are you a pinball fan? Got a little moola to spare? Help 'em out... you know you want to.

Details of the project and campaign are below.

Pro Pinball® fans are now offered even more in the way of incentive to help the campaign succeed with two new reward tiers for iOS and Android.

New playable lighting demos added to illustrate development prowess.

Oxfordshire, UK. September 13th 2012. Silverball Studios, today it updated its Pro Pinball® Kickstarter campaign, launched on 5th September, to include support for further platforms for the new titles, new reward tiers offering backers one full table for iOS or Android for just $10 pledge and all five tables for just $35 towards to the project, and a staggering playable lighting demo for anyone to download.

After the inclusion of a completely free download of the original title; Big Race USA, and the promise of two further original tables on success of the campaign to the Kickstarter page, the studio have announced the project will now include development of all tables on PS3, PS Vita, Linux and Android, which includes OUYA and Kindle Fire. The decision was made as fans of the series voted on mass on the Pro Pinball Facebook page to tell the studio these platforms are also where they want play the tables.

"We are so pleased to see so many people wanting the new titles on so many formats, it has exceeded our expectation and we are just delighted to be able to bring them to the platforms the fans want most" said Silverball CEO, Adrian Barritt.

As well this news, Silverball are now offering backers pledging $35 or more the full set of tables on either iOS or Android (includes OUYA and Kindle Fire), or the table of their choice for just $10, giving them a slice of Pro Pinball history.

In a rush of activity the studio has also today released amazing new playable lighting demos for both PC and Mac. The demos can be downloaded directly from the Kickstarter page:

Footage of the demo being played has seen a flurry of views and positive comments since its release onto YouTube here, so the studio made the decision to give fans the chance to play with it themselves. The demo illustrates the depth and skill the development team will be using to remaster the original series and develop the new table, taking the visuals well beyond the current state of the art.

The existing rewards attached the campaign remain the same and include;signed boxed copies of the tables in the series; classic and new, and the opportunity to appear on the back-glass of the new table, drawn by the great John Youssi; the artist responsible for a the back-glass artwork for The Addams Family, The Twilight Zone and Medieval Madness. Plus the team are creating a series of metal Pro Pinball® key rings; and these collectors' items will only be available to the Kickstarter backers.

The team behind the development of the project are the very same that created new pinball games; Mario Pinball Land, Metroid Prime Pinball, Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon and Frogger Pinball, and have partnered with the pinball legend Pat Lawlor, creator of the best selling pinball table of all time, The Addams Family, and the highest rated pinball table of all time, The Twilight Zone on this very exciting Kickstarter project.

Pat Lawlor said of the new reward tiers;"I think this is a dream come true for Pinball fans, it certainly is for me to be involved. For only a $35 pledge they can get 3 original tables and all 5 news ones at the end of the campaign. Now that is a good deal!"
