UK fans of Rick and Morty wubba lubba dub duuuubbb no more as season 4 will be arriving sooner than expected. When it was revealed last week that season four wouldn't land on Channel 4 until January 31st, UK fans were less than happy. As a Brit and a fan of Rick & Morty, I don't mind telling you that I was ruddy livid. Apologies for the strong language, but a three-month wait for no real reason as the show has already started in America, that's where us Brits draw the line.

Fans took to the internet to voice their upset, and as you know, the two things us Brits do best is queuing and complaining.  Channel 4 has listened to the onslaught of backlash, and their Director of Programmes (Ian Katz) has confirmed a much sooner launch date.

"When we announced we would be airing Rick and Morty series 4 on free to air TV in January we thought fans would be delighted. Instead they told us – in their droves – that it wasn't nearly soon enough, so we've listened and brought forward the UK premiere to November 20 on E4 and All 4. Enjoy!"

Rick & Morty found a bigger audience thanks to Netflix, back in 2017, the third season was available weekly (outside of the US). So an added three-month wait on top of the two years we've already waited added insult to injury. Thankfully, season four is arriving next week, and we'll have new adventures of Rick & Morty to keep us company in the runup to Christmas. The long-awaited fourth season kickstarted on Adult Swim over the weekend with the Edge of Tomorrow inspired Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat. It remains unclear when the remaining five episodes of season four will be available, all we know is it will be sometime next year.
