The cast of David Leitch's latest action movie, Bullet Train, is already full to the rafters with A-list talent, but it has found room for another Oscar winner to join its ranks. Sandra Bullock has been added to the cast of Leitch's high concept actioner that sees some of the world's most dangerous assassins all on the same train at the same time. Naturally, the rivals all get along famously and settle down for a relaxing train journey without any incident, credits. Or, mayhem ensues.

Based on Kotaro Isaka's book Maria Beetle, the movie version is being adapted by Zak Olkewicz (Lights Out) and is easily Leitch's most ambitious project to date. Leitch is no stranger to high-concept action with John Wick, Deadpool 2, and Hobbs & Shaw under his belt. Bullock joins the already impressive cast that includes Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Masi Oka, and Andrew Koji.  Bullet Train will shockingly mark the first time Hollywood heavyweights Sandra Bullock and Brad Pitt have starred together. Technically they've been in the same franchise with Bullock appearing in the recent Ocean's 8, but this will be the first time they get to appear on screen together in the same movie.

While we may have a bit of a wait to see Bullet Train, we'll get two servings of David Leitch produced action in 2021. First up is Nobody starring Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk which arrives in April, the trailer has a serious John Wick vibe only with a more comedic tone. Later in the year, we have Kate from The Huntsman: Winter's War director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan. Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the titular assassin who has just 24 hours to live after being poisoned by her employers. Kate will arrive on Netflix later this year.
