The Heat, the outrageous new comedy starring Sandra Bullock and breakthrough sensation Melissa McCarthy comes to UK cinemas nationwide on 31st July 2013.

As a huge fan of McCarthy and Bullock,The Heat is one of my most anticipated films of 2013. It may not seem like it's going to be the best film ever but with these two side by side, there's bound to be a plethora of belly laughs ready to go.

The only problem is, whilst these women have worked hard to get to where they are, it seems that 20th Century Fox just can't keep their hands off the airbrushing techniques when it comes to Comedy movie posters; at the end of 2012 the posters began to look like cartoons. However by far THE HEAT has to have been the most insulting to fans of film and the actors involved, especially McCarthy who is so slimmed down, she's not even recognisable despite her name being emboldened above her head on the poster. What a turn off for fans of these two and quite a few people at Fox need a slap for not just allowing the 'touch up' to get that far, but for the person who also approved it. just take a look before we get to the clips which are truly terrific...

Now that's out of the way, enjoy the clips.... when people told me about the poster I never expected it to be so, in your face ridiculous and Melissa as an actress, a person and a human being deserves better.... SORT IT OUT FOX!!!

Uptight FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock) and foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (Melissa McCarthy) couldn’t be more incompatible. But when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected: buddies.

Directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids), written by Kate Dippold, (Parks and Recreation) produced by Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark, Jenno Topping.
