Franziska Tobler and Friedemann Berg are called to a small Black Forest settlement, a popular place of residence for young families whose children are to grow up there in a peaceful social environment. This idyll is shattered when an eleven-year-old girl dies of a gunshot wound and the neighboring boy disappears.
